Marketing is understanding what people are missing then connecting and meeting with them in such a way that they have what they need before they even realize they needed it. It is about being in tune with the world around us constantly.
KT is in her last year of studies pursuing a Bachelor of International Business degree with a concentration in International Trade and Marketing with a Minor in Japanese.
During her time in Sprott, KT has been actively involved in the Sprott and Carleton community as a member of the Carleton University Figure Skating Club and a Promotions Coordinator with the Carleton Musical Theatre Society.
Aside from her commitment with SMSA, KT is currently working as a Telecounseling Supervisor for the Carleton University Undergraduate Recruitment Telecounseling Office, a Formals Committee member with the Sprott Business Students’ Society, a Student Ambassador with the Sprott Student Ambassador program, and a volunteer with the Carleton University International Student Services Officer (ISSO).
In her role as a Brand Ambassador, KT will be helping grow the SMSA brand and providing her insight in the continued growth of the organization for years to come.
After the completion of her undergraduate degree, KT aspires to work in the marketing sector of a multinational organization.
In her spare time, KT enjoys an active lifestyle, whether in a gym or borrowing a friend’s skateboard. In addition, she enjoys shopping to keep up with the latest fashion trends.
