Director of Brand Ambassadors 

The Director of Brand Ambassadors will be responsible for coordinating and hiring the Brand Ambassadors team.  The successful candidate will be ensuring effective communications between the executive team and Brand Ambassadors team. The Director of Brand Ambassadors will be responsible in organizing weekly meetings with the Brand Ambassadors to discuss ways to increase awareness of SMSA events and initiatives and to provide substantial student club experience (Event Planning, Social Media Marketing, Graphic Design, and Corporate Relations) to each ambassador. This role will involve a large time commitment and requires exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills. The Director of Brand Ambassadors has to be comfortable in delegating tasks, managing a group of people, and developing the next generation of student leaders. 

  • Overseeing and hiring the Brand Ambassadors Team by end of September 2021

  • Collaborating with the executive team to provide student club work for the Brand Ambassadors

  • Organize weekly meetings to discuss ideas to enhance the SMSA brand

  • Ability to multitask and to handle team situations

  • Ability to react quickly to situations and work under tight deadlines

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organization skills

  • Active involvement with Sprott and Carleton student life

  • Previous coaching or team management experience is considered an asset
