Content Creation Specialist

The Content Creation Specialist will be responsible in promoting SMSA in the Sprott, Carleton, and Ottawa community. The successful candidate will report to the VP Marketing, and will take a leadership role in providing content for a variety of SMSA's marketing channels. Some of these channels include our Website, Social media, and print materials such as posters or banners. This is an excellent opportunity for a student looking to use their creativity, graphic design, and copywriting skills!

Weekly time commitment: 3 hours

Responsibilities​

  • Under the direction of the VP Marketing, create a variety of content for SMSA's promotional channels, including:​​

    • The SMSA website (Wix)​​

    • Our social media channels (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn Facebook)

    • Print media, which may include posters, banners, and brochures

  • Content Creation will involve a combination of graphic design and copywriting skills

  • Using Canva to create graphics

Qualifications

  • Recommended for a First or Second Year Student

  • Creativity, open-mindedness and reliability

  • Strong organization skills

  • At least one year of experience using Canva or other graphic design software
